Hill City Church is privileged and excited to work in partnership with SIM Paspanga church in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and to sponsor scores of children out there through the local Compassion project. Over the years, As well as writng and receiving letters, we have been privileged to be able to bless the children in the Compassion project in multiple ways, including providing them with mosquito nets and new play ground equipment. We are currently still fund-raising to cover the cost of the construction of new classrooms for the children at the Compassion Centre.
It’s fair to say that the children of Burkina Faso really matter to the saints of Hill City. This has recently been proved in a quite compelling way by one of the ladies from church, Margaret, who has knitted puppets for each of the 120 children in the project. An incredible achievement and a wonderful gift of grace to the children, that we pray will bless them and express something of the love of God towards them.
