Let's face it - Life is difficult! Situations and circumstances change all of the time. That's not even to mention our changing emotions! One thing I love about God however is that He says Himself that: 'I am the Lord, I do not change' (Malachi 3 v6).
I don't know about you, but that is a great comfort to me as a Christian. When things are changing around me, when I've had a bad day (or even a bad week, month or year!), I know that my heavenly Father is the same and by the blood of Christ I can come to Him knowing He is unchanging. Pastor Dai said the other day that there is never a sky which is the same, and this painting shows that even though the hues of the sky may change, the Holy Spirit is revealing and leading us into the truth that God does not.
I painted this as a gift for my Mum in 2008.
