On Friday 1st November we are delighted to be holding another Soul Sessions outreach event. Once again the venue will be Cwmbran Costa and the evening will feature live music by Abi Williams, with a live DJ there too. Our guest speakers for the evening will be Gavin Peacock and Mez McConnell, who will be sharing their remarkable stories of how God has transformed their lives. As usual, the event will be free of charge and all are welcome to come and join us.
We look forward to seeing you there!
On Sunday 5th May we are VERY excited as a church to be doing our first ever open air church service. We will be meeting at the Band Stand in Pontypool Park at 3pm for a time of sung worship, testimonies and the Word being preached. Our prayer is that a good crowd of joyful Christians coupled with the faithful preaching of God’s Word will be a powerful, life-changing witness to the grace of God in our town and our valley.
To that end we would love for you to come and join us! It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, you would be very welcome to come and be part of this exciting gospel event!
We’d love to see you and worship with you!
It was a great to see the phenomenal work of the Trussel Trust’s foodbanks profiled on BBC Wales Today this week, and especially exciting that they chose to report from the Eastern Valley Foodbank that runs out of our Hope Centre in Pontypool. Obviously it’s sad that foodbank usage is higher than ever in Wales, but encouraging that God’s people are able to serve those who are facing hard times in such a practical and compassionate way. If you missed the report you can watch it here.
