Although Fati's family lost all their possessions in the floods and have now moved to a new district, Fati continues to attend the SIM Paspanga Child Development Centre. She has four sisters and a brother. Her sisters' names are Sourayo, Adama and Sorata and her brother is Issouf. Her little sister is Fadila.

Fati has asked for prayers for her studies, so that she will one day realise her dream of becoming a teacher.
