Through our gatherings and other ministries we are increasingly connecting with people who are curious about the Christian faith and want to find out more about Jesus and what the Bible teaches. Therefore we are delighted to invite you to join us on a new course that we have just started to run called Christianity Explored.
Here’s a video to explain a bit more about how it works:
If you’d like to find out more, or to sign up for the course please do contact us.
At Hill City Church we believe passionately that the gospel – the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ – is the greatest news in the world and therefore we love to celebrate Easter. This year our Easter celebrations are as follows:
– Easter egg hunt (kids) | 11am at Pontypool Active Living Centre.
Friday 18th April
– Good Friday Communion Service | 11am at Cold Barn Farm.
Sunday 20th April
– Easter Morning Celebration | 11am at Pontnewynydd Methodist Chapel.
– Easter Celebration | 4pm at the Pavilion, Parc Taff Bargoed, Trelewis.
Why not come and celebrate the gospel with us this Easter time?
It was a only a few months ago that we held our last baptism service. Since then, however, we have been very blessed as a church as we have witnessed God’s saving hand at work again and again. Couple this with the fact that we will soon be moving our Sunday gatherings out of Pontypool Active Living Centre, we thought that we would make a big splash on our last Sunday meeting there by holding our second baptism service of the year.
The date for the baptisms will be Sunday 13th April and the service will start at 6pm.
Why not come and join us and celebrate the saving grace of God?!
You’d be very welcome.
