Passage: Mark 8:31-9:1

Following Peter's incredible confession that Jesus is the Christ, Jesus goes on to explain to His disciples in no uncertain terms that He is heading down a path of rejection, suffering, death and ultimately resurrection. Peter rebukes Him for this and is in turn rebuked by Jesus for his worldly perspective. Jesus then goes on to explain that the cross is not just the means of our salvation, it's also the model of our discipleship. Pastor Dai Hankey explores what it means to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Jesus.
