Jesus is implored by Jairus, one of the Synagogue rulers, to come and heal his daughter who is at death's door. En route He is touched by a woman who has been suffering greatly for 12 years and she is miraculously healed. However, just as Jesus is commending her for her faith, word reaches them that Jairus' daughter is dead, but as Neil McCarthy teaches, that's not the end of the story...
