Passionate, punchy, chilled-out and challenging - Sofa Sermons is the affectionate name given to the messages that are preached each Sunday as part of Hill City Church weekly services, held in the cosy setting of Dai and Michelle's living room!

Sofa Sermons Series 1 - Hill City Series
The inaugral preaching series for Hill City Church is a six part series. Preached straight from the sofa and unpacking exactly what Jesus was getting at in the 'Light of the World' bit of His Sermon On The Mount.

Sofa Sermons Series 2 - Philemon Series
Tucked away in the latter half of the New Testament, Paul's letter to Philemon is a passionate plea to Philemon, a church leader to deal graciously with Onesimus - a slave who had robbed him and run away, only to bump into Paul and get saved. In this short 3 part series, Pastor Dai Hankey looks at what this letter can teach us about how grasping the miraculous gospel of grace can help us honour Jesus in our relationships today.

Sofa Sermons Series 4 - God's Jukebox (The Book of Psalms)
God's Jukebox is a huge Hill City preaching series that seeks to unpack and enjoy the most famous and dearly loved song book in history - the Book of Psalms. With preachers both from Hill City and various guest speakers, we infrequently and randomly flick through the beautiful pages of the Psalms. We estimate that it will take the best part of 13 years to cover the whole book ... so stay tuned!
