At Hill City Church we believe that baptism is one of the most important and exciting things a Christian will ever do. It speaks of dying to our old, broken way of doing life, burying our sin with Jesus and receiving His beautiful, free gift of eternal life.
In fact we're so into baptism that we are committed to making our baptism services memorable celebrations that will live long in the memory.
Our Fourth Baptism Service (4th December 2011)
Our fourth baptism service took place on Sunday 4th December 2011. It was an incredibly special occasion as it was the first time we have actually baptised anyone in Trevethin itself. Both the service and the baptisms took place at Cold Barn Farm as we baptised three new believers and celebrated the wonderful grace of God together
Our Third Baptism Service (10th July 2011)
Our third baptism service (Trevethin & Usk Island) was held on 10th July 2011 at Cold Barn Farm, Trevethin. It included a short service, the baptisms and a beach BBQ at Newent Beach, Porthcawl.
