Our church draws it’s name from the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Our vision is to be a community of worshippers on mission together in the Eastern Valley, whose lives are marked by radical discipleship and extravagant grace. To let our light shine for the good of others and the glory of God.
In light of this, we seek to be a church who are:
- Committed to sharing the gospel in our local communities and making disciples.
- Actively planting churches across Wales, particularly in the valleys.
- Passionate about supporting and resourcing global missions.
In everything we do we want to be ‘Loving God & loving people in light of the love of Christ.’
