Passage: Acts 4:1-31

Following the miraculous healing of the lame man and Peter's insistence that this miracle had been done in the name of Jesus, the religious authorities arrested the apostles and insisted that they shut up about Jesus. Such was the passion and courage of the apostles, however, that despite their threats, they refused to be silenced. Rather, they cried out to God for greater boldness in order that they might continue to proclaim Jesus.
